Some Farm Pictures
Just a few Farm Pictures
This is Russell Creek that runs through the Farm. It gets pretty wide in some spots and even has a couple of sandy beaches. Watch out for snapping turtles though.
This is one of the Hay Fields
Bottom land that lays along Russell Creek. It's very fertile and grows hay prolifically.
Summer time
Some Summer field flowers
Donkey Jack
This is General Beauregard hanging loose in the Barn. He's good natured and lives like a king with his 3 female partners.
Brood Cows
Here is an Angus-Charolais cross brood cow that is due to calve this spring.
Billy Goat Yard and Hut
The Billies get their own yard and private house
Fire Wood Fire Wood
Here at Woodleigh Farm we like to run a sustainable operation and firewood is an important part of the equation. Luckily we have plenty and all we have to do is cut down the tree(selective culling to allow healthy younger trees to thrive), buck it into pieces, haul it out of the woods, split it and then stack it, let it cure out, then tote it inside to be burned for heat. Sounds easy right?
